When You Wish Upon A Star is a small charity whose primary aim is to fulfill the wishes of children with life threatening illnesses.

Being able to look forward to a wonderful occasion is often the inspiration required to keep the children and their families going whilst enduring grueling treatments and suffering long hospital days.

The GNO has helped to sponsor a plane to take a group of children on a visit to Lapland;

• Most of us would be fortunate enough for it to be just another day.
• For too many, it will provide a lifetime of memories.
